LEEDS, HARRY A. "HAL" 43, of Galloway Township. Born in
Colorado, he was the beloved son of Harry & Ellie Leeds Jr. He is survived
by: his loving parents of Galloway Township; his sister Vicki and her husband
Mike Somers of Absecon; his brother Greg Leeds and his wife Mary & their
four children, John Robert, Jason and Alissa of Galloway Township; his brother
Clyde Leeds, Nancy Burns and their son Timmy of Galloway Township. Hal is
predeceased by his brother, Bobby. He is also survived by: his maternal, loving
grandmother,
Edna Feistel of Denver, CO; his paternal
grandparents, Harry Leeds Sr. and Marge of Galloway Township; his step son AJ
Ficca from the area, now stationed in Korea; and many relatives here in NJ and
CO.
Hal loved the outdoors very much, whether it be fishing, camping, or
hanging out . His love for Harleys was very great. Hal loved people, life,
cooking, food and freedom of open spaces. His love for animals, especially dogs
was tremendous. Hal served his country in Germany in the U.S. Army. Hal had a
great love for trying to figure out how things worked. He loved working with his
hands. Before he got crippled up, he did masonry and brick work locally. Hal
never met a person he didn't like. He had a way of touching many people, but he
didn't see it. He was always pointing out projects that he worked on in the
earlier years. There wasn't a person that he met along the way the he somehow
didn't befriend. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family
and friends. Until we meet again!
The viewing will be 10-11 AM at Parsels
Funeral Home on New Jersey Ave in Absecon on Saturday, March 2nd. The Funeral
will follow at 11 AM. Burial will be at Oceanville Cemetery on Rt. 9 in
Oceanville.
